Systral in Lyon is to test the Siemens optical guidance system on route C1 for 6 months during 2009. Much of the C1 has reserved lane running and stops will be raised to a 21cm curb height. In what has been called the 'Pollution Capital of Europe', Milan is necessarily taking delivery of new trolleybuses. As part of a major upgrade, 30 Van Hool AG300T's are now arriving.
