Solingen is taking delivery of it's 15 Hess Swisstrolley3 models and Winterthur has ordered 21 similar trolleybuses. The order is worth 26 million Franks, with a first vehicle arriving in late summer, and the others following in three batches by spring 2011.   Andrew Moglestue

In what has been called the 'Pollution Capital of Europe', Milan is necessarily taking delivery of new trolleybuses. As part of a major upgrade, 30 Van Hool AG300T's are now arriving. The 240kw Skoda traction motor drives the centre axle and supercapacitors recover braking energy. The trolleybuses have a capacity for 152 passengers and can 'kneel'.   Alessio Pedretti
